RECRUITMENT:

Office Manager Position:

Austen Dawson (Construction & Mechanical) Limited, a thriving building company nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, is on the hunt for a dynamic Office Manager to join our growing team. As we continue to expand and elevate our presence within the construction industry, we require a forward-thinking individual who can manage day-to-day operations at our office in Lechlade on Thames.

Working closely with our Directors’, your key responsibilities will be:

- Overseeing daily office operations and provide administrative support to ensure efficient running of the office and the business as a whole,

- Assisting with procurement of materials and other bespoke specialist items,

- Implementing and maintaining office management procedures,

- Co-ordinating diaries, meetings and appointments,

- Managing customer relations, serving as the first point of contact for client inquiries,

- Handling financial tasks including invoicing, payroll and budget tracking,

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Our Ideal candidate will:

- Possess exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills,

- Exhibit strong accounting capabilities with a keen eye for detail,

- Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills,

- Hold prior experience in an office management role, preferably within the building or construction industry.

Requirements of this role:

- Proven experience in a customer-facing role.

- Excellent accounting skills and experience managing financial tasks,

- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel is highly advantageous,

- Experience in a similar role within a construction company would also be highly advantageous.

This is a full time position, but working flexibility could be agreed for the right candidate. Competitive salary, holiday and pension.
